If you open the addon zip file, you can extract the python scripts and see what they did (there is the proper_keymap.py which is the main keymap and the lk_keymap_tools.py which handles the pie menus... Ive given blender tries over the years but the controlls and ui drove me off every time. U must choose "3ds max" navigation mode at starting blender!!! Blender ui and controlls to be 3ds max like? I cannot tell how well it is imitating the max layout since i never used it and have basically no experience with max either.. The learning curve is quite steep.
